John Highley

John Highley is an accomplished sculptural mosaic and stained glass artist. He is currently exploring the patterns of life and how they express themselves together in  nature and art.  His work is displayed as sculpture in custom created stands, or hung on chains to flow freely on a wall, dangling behind light or in a window.  For the last 15 years, John has been focused on designing and creating mosaic glass creations of spiritual reflection, that he intuitively conjures from minute shards of coloured glass. Each piece is meticulously placed, contributing to the balance and structure of each original design. The finished product represents a meditation of colour and light. His work is commissioned and sold in galleries such as the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery as well as art shows in Canada and around the world.
